Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Weyvox application and related services. By creating an account, signing in with an executor code, or using Weyvox, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the app. Weyvox is the telephone line of your business with an AI on it — an app for iPhone and Android, made for sole traders and small businesses: a real phone number, an AI agent that answers your customers on that line, places calls on your instruction and texts them a confirmation afterwards, business management, a team of executors, and personal chats with people by phone number. Where you use Weyvox as a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights under French and EU consumer law.

2. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use Weyvox. This age limit reflects the nature of the service: a prepaid, paid telephony service and an autonomous AI agent that places real phone calls, built on third-party AI technology whose provider policies require adult users. At registration you confirm that you are 18 or older and accept these Terms; we refuse to open, and may close, accounts of persons under 18. An executor who signs in with an access code (section 4) must likewise be at least 18. By using Weyvox you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. The service
Weyvox is the telephone line of your business with an AI on it. What the app provides, in the order it is used:
- A business line. A real phone number bought in the app — the Weyvox operator number — or your own business number connected to Weyvox by call forwarding and verified as caller ID (section 7). Every call runs over the public telephone network from that line, to and from any ordinary telephone.
- An AI agent on the line. It answers incoming calls when you do not, places calls on your instruction, speaks for you when you hand it the call, takes orders, and completes tasks on your behalf — with an automatic AI call note afterwards (sections 8 and 11).
- SMS to your customers, sent by the agent from your Weyvox operator number: a confirmation of what was agreed on a call, a text-back to a missed call, or a message you ask it to send (section 10).
- Business management. The business profile, business type and price list the agent works from, plus your customer records, orders, business documents, PDF templates and analytics.
- A team. Up to ten executors who sign in with an access code and work on the orders assigned to them (section 4).
- Personal chats with people by phone number — text, media, voice messages and locations, alongside the line.
Personal chats and the first 5 GB of storage are free; business documents count towards the same storage allowance; the AI agent, calls, SMS, phone numbers, executor seats and extra storage are paid features billed from your prepaid balance at the rates shown in the app (Settings → Account → Tariffs) and on weyvox.com/pricing. Features may evolve, be added, or be removed over time.
4. Your account and your devices
You register with your phone number and are responsible for your account and for activity that takes place through it. Keep your device and account secure — you can set a PIN and lock the app in Settings → Account → Security — and notify us of any unauthorised use. One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise.
One active device. A Weyvox account is active on one phone at a time. Signing in on a new phone makes it the account's device and signs the old one out. Your chats, balance, phone number, business records and the AI agent's memory are stored on our servers and are available again after you sign in on the new phone.
Administrator and executor accounts. The account you register is an administrator account — the owner of the business, its line, its balance and its settings. An administrator may add up to ten executors (Business → Team): staff who sign in without registering, by entering the eight-character access code the administrator hands them, and who see and work only on the orders assigned to them. Executors act under the administrator's business, and their use of the agent is charged to the administrator's balance. As administrator you are responsible for the executors you add and for what they do in Weyvox, for verifying that they are adults, for keeping each access code confidential (the code is the executor's login and password until you reset it or remove the person from the team), and for paying the executor seat fee of €10 per month per executor (section 5). You may reset a code or remove an executor at any time: removal stops that code working, ends their sessions and releases the orders assigned to them. An executor may leave the team at any time, which deletes their sub-account. An executor has no balance, buys nothing in the app, and does not place calls on the business line.
5. Balance, payments and refunds
Paid features are financed by a prepaid balance that you top up inside the app. Top-ups are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing; Apple or Google acts as the merchant for these purchases, processes your payment under its own terms, and we never receive your payment-card details.
What is charged. Neither the app nor the agent is sold by the month. Two subscriptions exist and you choose them yourself — a Weyvox phone number and each team member (€10 a month). Other paid actions are charged from the balance as you use them — the AI agent's work (per minute on calls, per token in chat), calls through your line (per minute, by country), SMS to your customers (per segment, up to three segments per message), AI call notes, web search, and storage beyond 5 GB. Three items carry a monthly fee, charged automatically from the balance: your Weyvox phone number (a country-dependent monthly fee shown before purchase, first month included in the purchase — section 7), each executor seat (€10 per month per executor, charged to the administrator's balance at the executor's first sign-in and monthly thereafter; if the balance cannot cover it, the executor keeps working for 7 days and then has read-only access until the fee is settled), and storage above the free allowance (per GB per month). Connecting your own business number is a one-time €5. The exact amounts are in the app under Settings → Account → Tariffs and on weyvox.com/pricing.
What the balance is. Your balance is a prepayment that can be used exclusively to pay for the paid features of Weyvox. It:
- has no cash value and is not electronic money;
- cannot be withdrawn, paid out, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another account or person;
- does not expire while your account exists, and carries no interest.
No refunds of top-ups. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not refund top-ups: money added to your balance is intended to be spent on the app's paid features, and amounts already spent on services (calls, the AI agent, SMS, notes, storage, phone numbers, executor seats) are non-refundable. Because top-ups are sold through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, any refund request concerning a top-up purchase is submitted to and decided exclusively by Apple or Google under the store's terms; where the store refunds a purchase, we may deduct the corresponding amount from your balance or suspend paid features until the difference is settled. Nothing in this section deprives you of rights that mandatory French or EU consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
Closing your account. If you delete your account, any remaining balance is forfeited and is not paid out — use your balance before deleting your account. The app warns you before deletion; deletion is irreversible. If you no longer have the app, you can request deletion of your account at weyvox.com/delete-account/.
Charges rated after use. Some charges (for example a call to a regular number) can only be calculated after the service completes. Such charges are applied when known and may take your balance below zero; the negative amount is settled from your next top-up, and paid features may remain unavailable until it is settled.
Prices. The prices in force are always shown in the app (Settings → Account → Tariffs) before and while you use a paid feature; usage is billed at the rates in force at the time of use. We may change prices for the future; significant changes are reflected in the app and on the pricing page before they apply to you.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As an EU consumer you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (art. L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). When you buy a top-up, you expressly request that the corresponding digital service be available immediately and you acknowledge that, once you start consuming the balance (for example by making a chargeable call or having the agent act), you lose the right of withdrawal for the part of the service already supplied. For the purchase transaction itself, withdrawal and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google as the seller of record, under the store's EU consumer terms.
7. Real phone numbers
- One number per account. Each Weyvox account may hold one operator (real) phone number at a time. While your number application is being processed, a temporary number may be offered so you can call sooner; it lives for up to 25 days and is replaced by your final number as soon as that number is approved.
- What you pay. The number carries a monthly service fee that depends on the country and on the number itself; it is shown on the purchase screen before you pay, and the amount charged from your balance when you buy covers the first month of service, plus any one-time setup fee that particular number carries. By submitting the application you expressly request that we begin performing immediately — reserving the number and submitting your registration to the carrier.
- Identity verification (KYC). Some numbers can only be registered with identity documents and details, because telecom regulations and our carrier require it. You must provide accurate, current documents; the carrier and the local regulator decide whether the number can be registered. How these documents are stored and automatically deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
- If the carrier rejects your application. A rejection does not end your application: you may correct the details or documents and resubmit as many times as needed, at no additional charge — the amounts you have already paid remain applied to the application until the number is registered.
- If you cancel the application. If you cancel a number application yourself, at any stage and for any reason, the amounts paid for that application are forfeited and not refunded, to the extent permitted by law: the amount paid for the number corresponds to the reservation and registration work already performed at your express request, and you acknowledge this when you cancel. This does not affect rights that mandatory consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.
- When the subscription starts. The subscription starts on the day you pay for the number: that payment already includes the first month of service, and the 30-day clock runs from it. Until the number is confirmed by the carrier the subscription stays inactive — nothing is charged and no next-payment date is shown. Once the number is confirmed, the subscription becomes active and billing continues on that same 30-day cycle.
- Monthly service fee, and what happens if it cannot be charged. After activation, the monthly fee is charged automatically from your balance. If your balance cannot cover it, the number is not cut off at once: for 30 days it keeps working while the charge is retried daily; for the 30 days after that, outgoing calls from it are blocked while the number is still held for you; and on day 60 it is released to the carrier and may not be recoverable. Any successful charge in that window restores the number to normal.
- Nature of the number. A phone number is a service allocated to you, not property you own. It is provided subject to availability and to the terms of our telephony carrier and the competent regulators, and may be reclaimed where a carrier or regulator requires it, or in the event of unlawful use or persistent non-payment.
- Your own business number. Instead of putting a new number on your cards, you may connect a number you already hold with another operator, by forwarding its calls to Weyvox and verifying it as caller ID; this costs a one-time €5, charged when the verification code is requested, and there is no monthly fee for the connection itself. Forwarding is switched on by you with your own carrier, and the minutes it forwards are billed by that carrier at your own rates. You must be entitled to use the number, and a connection requires an active Weyvox operator number to receive the forwarded calls. SMS to customers are sent only from a Weyvox operator number, not from a connected one.
- Account deletion releases your number with the carrier immediately.
8. The AI agent
The AI agent is an automated system. In line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), it always identifies itself as an AI assistant acting for you at the start of every call — outbound, auto-answered, or when it takes over a live call; this disclosure is built in and cannot be switched off. You are responsible for the tasks you instruct it to perform and for their consequences. The agent may make mistakes or misunderstand instructions; verify anything important (a booking, a commitment, a deadline). Outcomes also depend on third parties — for example, a restaurant may still cancel a booking the agent made — and we do not guarantee any particular outcome of a task. Do not use the agent to deceive, harass, defraud, or to place calls that are unlawful where you or the recipient are located.
Third-party AI technology. The agent is not a human and is not supervised by one. It is an artificial-intelligence system built on language models and speech technology supplied by third-party AI providers, and everything it says or writes is machine-generated output of those systems. The capabilities, limitations and behaviour of the underlying models are determined by those providers and are governed by their own terms and acceptable-use policies, which also apply to your use of the agent through Weyvox. We do not train these models, do not control their internal workings, and cannot guarantee that a given output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose.
Identical configuration for everyone; you alone direct the agent. Weyvox operates the agent with the same underlying configuration, instructions and safety settings for every user — we do not tailor its behaviour to individual users beyond the options you yourself see and change in the app (the voice and language it speaks with, the model and effort level in chat, the auto-answer delay, and the switches that enable each of its capabilities). We take no part in choosing the tasks you give the agent, do not review them, and are not a party to anything the agent arranges on your behalf. You instruct the agent unilaterally, and its acts on your instructions are attributed to you as if you had performed them yourself; you bear sole responsibility for the use of your agent and for verifying its results before relying on them.
Documents the agent writes. On your request the agent produces documents — an invoice, a statement of completed work, a certificate, a letter, a report, or a free-form document — as a PDF generated on your device. These are drafts you commission: they are machine-generated output built from what you told the agent and from the details you saved in your PDF templates, and they are not legal, tax or accounting advice and are not checked by us for accuracy or for compliance with the invoicing, tax or formal requirements of any country. Weyvox does not issue, sign, send or certify any document; a copy is filed in your own document archive, where you can delete it at any time. Before you use or send a document, you must check it — the amounts, the dates, the details of both parties and any mandatory particulars your jurisdiction requires. A document you send is yours, exactly as if you had written it. You are also responsible for the content of your templates: enter only your own details there, and only data you are entitled to provide.
Agent voice and voice cloning. You choose the voice your agent speaks with — a ready-made voice, or a clone of your own voice. You may clone only your own voice; you must not clone or imitate anyone else's voice or use the feature to impersonate any person. The agent's spoken AI disclosure above applies equally when it uses a cloned voice, so the other party is always informed they are speaking with an AI. You can delete a cloned voice at any time in Settings; how the voice data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Calls, acceptable use
You agree to use Weyvox lawfully and not to:
- make unsolicited bulk, automated, or nuisance calls or messages (spam), or violate telemarketing or "do-not-call" rules;
- harass, threaten, defraud, or infringe the rights of others;
- use the service for any illegal purpose or in breach of applicable telecommunications law;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Zero tolerance for illegal content. Child sexual abuse material, terrorism or incitement to mass violence, and human trafficking result in the immediate and indefinite suspension of your account on the first confirmed occurrence, without warning and without any right to a refund of your remaining balance. Evidence is preserved and the matter may be referred to the competent authorities.
Reporting, review and sanctions. If you receive spam, threats, fraud or any other abuse through Weyvox, write to support@weyvox.com with the number and the time concerned; a person reviews every report. Where we find a violation of these Terms, we may warn the account, restrict features (for example calls, SMS or the agent), or close the account; the remaining balance of a closed account is handled under section 5. You are told which rule was found to be broken and can contest the decision by email. Our acceptable-use rules, what we may do about a violation and how to appeal are published at weyvox.com/rules and form part of these Terms. You can also block any number at any time in the app; blocking is independent of reporting.
10. SMS to your customers
When you hold a Weyvox operator number, the AI agent can send SMS to your customers from it: a confirmation of what was agreed on a call (only after the customer agreed to it on the call), a text-back to a missed call if you switch that on, or a message you ask the agent to send from a customer's card. Every SMS is sent in your name and on your behalf. You are responsible for having the customer's consent, or another lawful ground, to contact them by SMS and for complying with the marketing, telecommunications and data-protection rules that apply to you and to the recipient; the agent only ever sends factual messages about your dealings with that customer, and you must not use it for advertising or bulk messaging. A recipient can bar their number from any contact through Weyvox — calls and SMS alike — at weyvox.com/optout/, and the agent will then not write to them. SMS are charged from your balance per segment (160 Latin or 70 non-Latin characters), up to three segments per message, at the price shown in the app and on the pricing page; delivery depends on the recipient's operator and is not guaranteed.
11. Call recording
When you enable AI notes, a call may be recorded and transcribed to produce a summary. Recording calls is regulated in many places. You are responsible for ensuring you have any consent or right required to record a given call. Where notes are enabled on a call to a phone number, Weyvox plays an audible notice to the other party. The recording is deleted right after transcription and the transcript is kept for 24 hours; both lifecycles are described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Availability, changes and suspension
We aim to keep Weyvox available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; the service depends in part on third parties (carriers, Apple, Google, and the categories of providers listed in our Privacy Policy). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the law, or to protect the service or other users; where reasonable, we will notify you and give you the chance to remedy the breach. You may stop using Weyvox and delete your account at any time in the app.
Storage of personal chats. Your personal chats and their media are stored on our servers in the European Union until you delete them or your account, and are available again when you sign in on a new phone. They are protected in transit and at rest and by access policies, but they are not end-to-end encrypted; what that means for who can read them is set out in section 10 of the Privacy Policy. Weyvox is not an archive service: keep separate copies of any information you cannot afford to lose.
13. Legal guarantee of conformity
If you are a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services provided by the French Consumer Code (art. L224-25-12 et seq.): the service must conform to its description and function as agreed for the duration of its supply. If it does not, you may demand that it be brought into conformity and, failing that, a price reduction or termination, under the conditions set by law. These Terms never reduce that guarantee.
14. Intellectual property
Weyvox, its software, design, and content are owned by the publisher or its licensors and are protected by law. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of the content you create and grant us only the rights needed to operate the service (for example to transmit and store your messages and business records and to run the AI agent for you).
15. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties. We are not responsible for third-party networks or for the outcome of tasks you instruct the AI agent to perform.
Third-party providers. Weyvox is built on networks, infrastructure and technology operated by independent third parties — among others telecommunications carriers, AI-model and speech-technology providers, hosting and storage infrastructure, and Apple's and Google's payment and distribution systems. We choose these providers with care, but we do not control them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for their outages, network quality, routing decisions, regulatory decisions, changes to or discontinuation of their services, refusals to register a phone number, non-delivery of an SMS, or for the content of machine-generated AI output — and a provider's failure does not constitute our breach of these Terms where we could not reasonably have prevented it. If a provider materially changes or withdraws a capability we depend on, we may modify or withdraw the corresponding Weyvox feature (section 12).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where that would be unlawful under French law — in particular liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or gross negligence, or for your mandatory rights as a consumer (including the legal guarantee of conformity). Subject to that, our liability is limited to foreseeable damage arising directly from our failure to meet these Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your EU country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
Legal framework we operate under. Weyvox is operated from France and is designed to comply with the European and French rules applicable to it, in particular: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi « Informatique et Libertés ») for personal data; Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act), including the Article 50 transparency duties for AI systems that interact with people; Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services, as transposed into the French Consumer Code; Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce, as transposed by the French LCEN (loi n° 2004-575); and Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) for the confidentiality of communications. How we process personal data under these rules is described in the Privacy Policy.
Amicable resolution and mediation. Please contact us first at support@weyvox.com so we can try to resolve any issue. As a consumer, after contacting us you may refer the dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation, arts. L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, provide notice in the app or by other appropriate means before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the service and delete your account.
