Community Rules
Weyvox is a phone line for small businesses run by an AI agent, with personal chats by phone number. These acceptable-use rules say what is not allowed on it, how to report abuse, what we may do about a violation, and how to appeal. They supplement the Terms of Use, which remain the binding agreement; a violation of these rules is a violation of the Terms.
1. What is not allowed
None of the following is acceptable on Weyvox — whether in a personal chat, on a call from your line, in an SMS the agent sends for you, or in the instructions you give the agent.
| Group | Covers | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Illegal content | Child sexual abuse · terrorism or incitement to violence · human trafficking | The account is closed immediately and indefinitely on the first confirmed occurrence, without warning and without refund of the remaining balance. Evidence is preserved and the case may be referred to the competent authorities. |
| Critical violations | Threats · blackmail or extortion · sexual content shared without consent · publishing another person's private data | A warning at most once; a repeat leads to restriction or closure of the account. |
| Harassment and deception | Insults or harassment · hate speech · fraud or phishing · impersonating another person or business | Warnings first; persistent behaviour leads to restriction of features and, ultimately, closure of the account. |
| Spam and unlawful contact | Unsolicited bulk or automated calls or SMS · advertising by SMS · contacting a number that has opted out at weyvox.com/optout/ · breaching telemarketing or "do-not-call" rules | The line, the SMS feature or the agent may be restricted; repeated or large-scale spam leads to closure of the account. |
| Misuse of the service | Using a number or a business profile you are not entitled to · cloning or imitating someone else's voice · using the agent to deceive or defraud · attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service | Restriction of the feature concerned or closure of the account, depending on severity. |
The group a case falls into guides how firmly we respond; it never makes the behaviour acceptable. Ordinary disagreements between two people are not a violation and are not acted on.
2. How to report
Write to support@weyvox.com. Include the phone number the abuse came from, the date and time, and what happened — a screenshot or a forwarded message helps. If you are a Weyvox user, write from the phone number registered to your account so we can match it. There is no report button in the app: the email is the only channel, and it reaches a person.
We do not open conversations on our own initiative. When you report a personal chat, we look at the messages you point us to; when you report a call or an SMS, we look at the records of that call or message on the line concerned. We will tell you when your report has been reviewed. We will not tell you what action was taken against the other account — that is another person's personal data — and we never tell the reported person who reported them.
You can also block any number at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Blocked numbers, or from the thread). Blocking is independent of reporting: it takes effect immediately and does not require us to review anything. A person who does not use Weyvox can bar their number from any contact through Weyvox — calls and SMS alike — at weyvox.com/optout/.
3. What we may do
Where a person at Weyvox finds that a rule was broken, we may, depending on the severity and on whether it has happened before:
- warn the account — a message stating which rule was broken;
- restrict features — for example calls from the line, SMS to customers, or the AI agent — for a stated period or until the matter is resolved;
- close the account — for illegal content on the first confirmed occurrence, and for other violations that continue after warnings or restrictions.
For an administrator with a team, a restriction or closure applies to the whole business, executors included; the administrator is responsible for what their executors do (Terms, section 4). What happens to the remaining balance of a closed account is set out in the Terms of Use, section 5: amounts already spent are not refunded, and an account closed for illegal content forfeits its balance. Only confirmed violations count; a report that is dismissed leaves no mark on the account.
4. If you are sanctioned
You receive a message stating which rule was broken, what we did, and, for a restriction, until when. When a restriction ends, access returns on its own. A record of confirmed violations is kept for the life of the account so that repeat behaviour is visible.
5. How to appeal
If you believe a decision was wrong, write to support@weyvox.com from the phone number registered to the account, describing what happened. A person who was not involved in the original decision re-examines the case and replies. A decision that turns out to be wrong is reversed and the record corrected.
